Term & Session Automation
Class Hierarchy (Promotion Order)
Arrange every class from lowest to highest using the arrows below. This order is only used for automatic 3rd Term promotion above — the last class in the list graduates instead of moving to a new class.
Class Sections
Split any class into named sections — e.g. type "A, B" for Primary 1 to get Primary 1 (A) and Primary 1 (B). Leave a class blank, or type only one name, to keep it as a single class — the Section picker only shows up once a class has 2 or more names.
Promote a Student
▾Move ONE student to a different class within the CURRENT academic session — e.g. an outstanding student skipping ahead. Only their identity info carries over (name, admission number, sex, DOB, age, dept/section, photo) — no subjects, scores, remarks, or attendance. Whole-class, end-of-year promotion happens automatically via Resumption Date in Settings.
